Rated one of Mexico's top 5. Resort. The golf course is located very beautifully and oceanfront at the Las Hadas Resort between the two bays of Manzanillo. La Mantarraya is available for guests. Pete and Roy Dye designed this course in the late 1970’s. La Mantarraya has hosted many celebrity golf tournaments over the years. Rates as of spring 2007, are as follows:

Host to the Seniors Invitational. A classic style course. This is a very prestigious private club.

Atlas Golf Club is down by the airport in Guadalajara, right on the way to LakeChapala area, and is a proper championship golf course. Great course, wonderful facilities but 10,000 USD to join and 300USD per month to maintain the membership. Green fees are about 120 USD

The club offers well-maintained bermuda fairways and bent grass greens. Semi-private. This club is very well worth a visit. Situated inside a very beautiful condominio area with prestigios villas and also some condos. There are always some possibilities to rent a villa or a condo here to spend some prime time. The club house holds highly appreciated gourmet restaurants, gym, other helth care facilities etc. There is also a large pool area and many tennis courts to use.

Chapala Country Club is a regulation 9 hole course where most of the Gringos play. Nice course, good social life and they are improving the course every year. Memeberships are $5,000U.S. per couple and there is a $200 U.S. per month charge to maintain the membership. Green Fees are about $40 U.S.
