Guadalajara is the second biggest city of Mexico , with a population of 4,000,000 people.
The city is situated about 2-3 hours from the coast and 5 hours from Mexico City by car. The
favourable situation of the city gives it a balanced climate all year around with an average temperature
of about 19.2 °C . Even during the summers, the temperature is pleasant and the vegetation
blooming and green due, since it is raining season. The meteorologists call the phenomena the ”summer
abnormality” while the people call it ”a blessing from the sky”.
Guadalajara is a mixture of genuine Mexican culture and modern metropolitan atmosphere. Therefore you can find everything here. However,in most parts of the city, there is a small-city feeling, since the buildings often are with only 2 floors and the streets have been kept intact throughout modernization.

Guadalajara also has one of the best
zoo in Latin America as well as a big city park.

outdoor markets, or”tianguis”, where
you can find all sorts of handmade products at
a very low prices, such as sandals, boots, baskets,
jewelry, carpets etc.
