What areas do we offer and why?
A crucial Q to answer when considering buying
or renting a property is “Where do I want
to live”? Mexico is a huge and very diverse
country as for vegetation, culture, infrastructure,
climate, economic development etc. Our objective
at MexiHomes is to offer areas and properties
that combine all the above living-conditions in
the best possible manner to create High Life Quality.
However, we come back to the above posed question:
Where? This depends on how you imagine you days
in Mexico: on a tropical beach, on the beach in
a town with pulse, living city-life or town-life,
playing golf? Find out
more about each location for your needs by clicking

Do I need a visa?
Staying up to 6 month in Mexico, does not require a visa. On the other hand there is a tourist visa to fill in before arriving to Mexico. Of course there is a requirement for a valid passport.
In order to be able to stay longer a Visa can be obtained at the Embassy of your country of origin.

There are a great number of private clinics in Mexico and the medicals are highly qualified. The fees do vary, but it will usually cost like $ 200-700 pesos for a doctor's examination depending on the situation.
There is a national medical care system called IMSS open to foreigners. The cost is about $ 3000 pesos per year. IMSS is to recommend, but also to have a private doctor. This private doctor will recommend which IMSS hospital or which IMSS clinic to turn to if there is a need.

Contact your local medical centre or doctor to get information. Whether you will need a vaccination will depend on where in Mexico you will stay and move about. It is recommended to take some stomach medicine, since the bacterial flora is very different from that in Europe.

GMT minus 6 hours.
What kind of clothing to bring?
No thick or warm clothes are needed in Mexico at any time. During the winter time (November February) a light jacket and a couple of sweaters could be useful in the early mornings or late evenings when the air can be a little chilly (that is if you are in the inland parts of Mexico). During the day time the temperature rises rapidly to about 25 degrees Celsius ( 46 degrees Fahrenheit ). During the rain season a rain coat can be useful and for eventual jungle visits you also will need long sleeves and long pants. Otherwise you will only need light and cool summer clothing.
